Great news Quantico fans ABC has renewed its spy thriller for a third season. Even though it did land a renewal things don’t look good as it was only guaranteed a 13 episode run. When it does come back in the fall the show will have a new showrunner since creator/executive producer Josh Safran is stepping down from the role. Safran will stay on as a consultant for Season 3. Search is underway for his replacement.
Rumor has it the show will move from New York to Los Angeles to offset some of the costs involved in filming the drama. The show lost a good chunk of viewers during the second season and has averaged a 1.3 adult viewership this season.
However, the show has been a very strong international seller which is probably why ABC is giving it one last shot. For more information see the video below.
