Britney Spears Settles Perfume Lawsuit

It's been almost a year but it looks like Britney Spears has finally agreed to settle a $10 million lawsuit filed by Brand Sense Partners, who accused the singer of fraud, deceit and breach of contract.

Brand Sense Partners who help Britney score a perfume deal with Elizabeth Arden, filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court back in March of last year alleging that Britney's father, Jamie, cheated the company out of commissions from Spears's beauty products by making a separate deal with Elizabeth Arden in a sneaky underhanded effort to circumvent and evade Spears's financial obligations to Brand Sense. Something it's alleged Jamie Spears only admitted to after being caught red-handed.

The settlements terms are being kept confidential but a source tells us that Brand Sense Partners will continue to receive a series of commissions for a set number of years as well as a lump sum payment.
