Bruce Willis and Demi Moore donate Liberty Theater

Bruce Willis and Demi Moore gave a gigantic gift to Sun Valley’s growing art community.

The former couple donated the historic Liberty Theater located on Main Street in Hailey to Company of Fools. This gives the local theater company a permanent place in Hailey. Company a Fools have performed in Hailey since 1996.

Willis and Moore purchased the property back in 1995 and had hopes of transforming it into a live performance space. In 1996 the couple convinced their friends, Rusty Wilson and Denise Simone to relocate their existing theater company to the state of Idaho to perform on the Liberty Theater stage. Eventually, Company of Fools merged with Sun Valley Center for the Arts, creating the largest arts organization in Idaho.

The former couple reportedly have been supporters of the Wood River Valley and have helped reinvigorate its economy.
