Thor is getting Gender Reassignment

Marvel Comics announced Tuesday that Thor will be a woman in the newest comic book. Unlike “She-Hulk” and “Batwoman” it’s just Thor. Goddess of Thunder. Wielding Mjölnir. You know. Like normal. To be honest I look forward to seeing this.

Phoenix Comicon!

Thursday started out with, what seems like, the annual Comicon fire alarm and clearing of the building. Unlike last year, they decided to open up the entire hall and move the Registration to the South Building....

After serving only 131 days (that is around 4 months) of a 1 year sentence, Not nearly enough time in jail or sentence in my opinion, the singer was released. Although the Singer vows never to return to jail, I foresee that he will return and for a longer time before the year is...

ABC and Fox have decided to dip into the super human/futuristic shows genre. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., spurred on by the popularity of The Avengers and directed by Joss Whedon, of famed Buffy verse, this promises to be a popular show. Agent Coulson, alive from his run in with death from the movie, leads this cast and I, as a geek, squee at the trailer (above). Fox hopes to draw...

BBC’s Sherlock vs CBS’s Elementary

Sherlock made a big splash with it’s US debut and with its quick following. There were many who wanted to cash in with Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s work. The movie with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law (Not really what I wanted to discuss but worth mentioning). Moffat’s Sherlock with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman and now CBS’s Elementary with Jonny Lee Miller and Lucy Liu. Before...

With the popularity of Avengers, and the Iron Man frianchise Marvel has come out with the sequal to Thor. I will wait until more trailers are released before I can give my honest opinion.     OH MY GOD THE HAIR!!!!...

I read books. I’m not going to lie, but I have never read The Hobbit. I own the book but I’ve never actually sat down and read it. So when the movie entered theaters I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. What I did do was to experience it in 3D. So with snack and drink in hand, 3D glasses firmly in place I entered the theater prepared to...
