Christina Millian has been named the new social media correspondent for the NBC show The Voice when its second season begins replacing Alison Haislip. NBC president of alternative programming Paul telegdy said “Christina’s extensive musical background and widespread recognition make her the perfect choice for the role of Social Media Correspondent on The Voice, and her experience as a singer will provide a comfort level to our artists when they speak to her about the ins and outs of the competition.”
The new season of The Voice will kick off following the Super Bowl February 5th and then air Mondays from 8 to 10 PM. Returning for season two will be host Carson Daly and musical coaches Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. With the addition of Christina Millian The Voice has a lot of music star power hopefully the show can move beyond what some refer to as a second rate talent show.
