Delta Burke Injured On Set of ABC Pilot Counter Culture

Delta-Burke-injured-counter-cultureWord came down today that production on ABC’s comedy pilot Counter Culture had to be stopped because one of its stars, Delta Burke, apparently suffered an injury after falling on the set yesterday. The television show had been doing pre-shoots, with its actual taping schedule to take place in front of a live studio audience tomorrow.

All of that now has been put on hold because we’ve learned that Delta Burke will be unable to take part in the taping for at least a week as a result of the injuries she suffered from her fall. No word yet on when taping will resume but producers are still hoping they will be able to finish the pilot in time for fall consideration.

Counter culture Was culture revolves around three sisters Billie (Kerri Kenney), Nonie (Burke) and Joyce (Margo Martindale) — running their family diner together in West Texas who wind up finding out that family issues seem to be always getting in the way of them getting the job done.
