We're being told an alleged sex tape featuring Grammy award-winning artist Adele has been leaked. The French tabloid Public claims to have seen the footage from the tape and have gone as far as even publishing three pages worth of video stills from what they referred to as a "very risqué "video tape. In the French tabloids Friday issue they claim the footage was taken with a cell phone camera and shows the singer and her ex-boyfriend in the backseat of her car. According to Public, a close friend of Adele is quoted as saying Adele was "devastated" when she found out that the images had been leaked.
French paparazzi Jean-Claude Elfassi on Thursday claimed via twitter that he is in possession of a copy of the tape and will be posting in online soon. His website but now it appears his entire website has been disabled.
The Grammy award winner singer's lawyers have gone on the offensive claiming that such a tape does not exist and are looking into taking legal action against the magazine
"We are informed that the French magazine Public has today published images which it claims show our client in a sex tape," they told the Daily Mail. "Our client has not appeared in a sex tape as claimed in the article. Our client does not appear in the photographs.
"Such claims are untrue and grossly defamatory. Our client is taking legal action in relation to this matter."
