FX’s Archer moving to new channel




U-Haul is probably would be happy to rent everyone’s favorite spy Archer a moving van because his hit show is on the move. FX’s popular animated television show Archer is set to begin airing on one of FX’s other networks FXX beginning with season eight this spring.

“Archer is an awesome addition to the growing slate of original comedies on FXX, where it will join It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Man Seeking Woman, and You’re the Worst,” said president of program strategy and COO of FX Networks Chuck Saftler in a statement.

“Adam Reed, Matt Thompson, and Floyd County continue to make one of the funniest shows on television and it’s great to see them earn the awards and acclaim that comes with one of the most loyal and avid fan bases in the industry,” he continued.

If you recall last June we told you that Archer was renewed for three more eight-episode seasons that its creator said it will wrap up when it hits season 10.

The animated show stars H. Jon Benjamin (Archer), Aisha Tyler (Lana Anthony Kane) and Jessica Walter (Malory Archer) about a highly skilled yet self-centered spy debuted on FX in 2010.
