Ghostbusters star commits suicide

We are saddened to report Henry “Hank” Deutschendorf who was one of the twins who played baby Oscar in Ghostbusters II  reportedly committed suicide last week at his Escondido, California home.

We only recently learned Deutschendorf had suffered through a long battle with schizoaffective disorder which if you don’t know is a combination of bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Sadly, the actor endured hallucinations, delusions, mania and severe depression which made every day he was alive a living hell and difficult to deal with.

Hank and his twin brother William starred in the movie together and later on in life the pair owned and operated a martial arts school in San Diego, California. They got there acting break because of their celebrity uncle John Denver who Hank was actually named after.

The 28-year-old actor also appeared as himself in the 2017 documentary “Cleanin’ Up the Town: Remembering Ghostbusters.”
