What do you do if you’re an Oscar-winning actress and get a lot of heat for making a paid appearance at a dictators birthday party? Well, if you’re Hilary Swank you fire your manager and possibly some of your staff.
After attending the 35th birthday party of Chechen dictator Ramzan Kadyrov, Swank has decided to donate her six-figure appearance fee to various charities and fire her longtime manager Jason Weinberg. Sources also say Swank is considering getting rid of three of her CAA employees Amie Yavor, Josh Lieberman and Lauren Hale all of whom were responsible for making the Chechen booking.
No word yet on any actions the other celebrities in attendance Jean-Claude Van Damme, Seal and Vanessa Mae after the backlash they received from the Human Rights Foundation and the media.
