Hugh Hefner says Holly Madison rewriting history to ‘stay in the spotlight’

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner is fighting back against his ex-girlfriend and former Playboy Bunny Holly Madison after she trashed Hefner in her new book, “Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures and Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny.” (I didn’t know this golddigger could reat let alone write a book!)

Madison claims in her book that her time at the mansion was a “nightmare” prompting Hefner to respond.

“Over the course of my life I’ve had more than my fair share of romantic relationships with wonderful women,” the Playboy said. “Many move on to live happy, healthy, and productive lives and I’m pleased to say remain dear friends today. Sadly, there are a few who have chosen to rewrite history in an attempt to stay in the spotlight.”

Madison alleged in her book that the Bunny life wasn’t as exciting as it may have seemed.

“Everyone thinks that the infamous metal gate was meant to keep people out,” Madison continued. “But I grew to feel it was meant to lock me in.”

Hefner concluded in his statement: “I guess, as the old saying goes: You can’t win ‘em all.”

Hefner married Playboy centerfold Crystal Harris on 2012 and many have claimed Madison is just bitter she didn’t get to so that she could control Hefner’s will. This just goes to show that some people will do anything for a few bucks.
