Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have decided to separate after 14 years together.
Johnny Depp’s publicist said in a statement that the couple "have amicably separated," and asked reporters to "Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children." 
Apparently after a move to Los Angles from France the couple reportedly drifted into living separate lives. It should be noted that they have not appeared together on a red carpet in over a year
Depp and Paradis have two children together: Lily-Rose, 13, and Jack, 9.
Depp and Paradis got together in 1998 after Depp spotted the Paradis sitting with a group of her friends at the bar of the Costes Hotel in Paris, where he was eating dinner with some acquaintances . Depp asked a friend to invite her over, and they talked for 2 hours.
It’s always sad when couples in Hollywood breakup but many people who know the couple agree it’s the best thing for both of them right now.
