Lady Gaga Gets A Prime Time Thanksgiving Special On ABC

Apparently the folks at ABC think Thanksgiving is about Turkey, pumpkin pie and Lady Gaga because they are giving the singer a 90 minute Thanksgiving TV special in prime time airing the evening of November 24th.

“A Very Gaga Thanksgiving,” directed by Lady of Gaga herself will feature her performing 8 musical numbers surrounded by her family and closest friends. Songs include “You and I,” “The Edge of Glory,” “The Lady is a Tramp” and “White Christmas.”

The special will also have the 25-year-old pop music icon reconnecting with their past by showing her visit Convent of the Sacred Heart Catholic School, which she attended, to talk with Katie Couric about her childhood and career.

It’s a busy time for Lady Gaga as she recently announced she is launching The Born This Way Foundation, a nonprofit focusing on “issues like self-confidence, well-being, anti-bullying, mentoring, and career development,” with the help of the MacArthur Foundation and Harvard University.
