It looks like the changes to Tim Allen’s television show Last Man Standing won’t be limited to just being on a new night. Sources tell us the role of Mike Baxter’s eldest daughter Kristin Baxter will now go to Amanda Fuller who replaces Alexandra Krosney who was let go from the show back in June for what was referred to at the time as “creative reasons”. In industry speak that just means the show runner are more likely the television show star doesn’t like you.
The other roles being recast or that of Mike Baxter’s five-year-old grandson Boyd who will now be played by Flynn Morrison replacing twins Luke and Evan Kruntchev. Also being replaced will be Boyd’s father Ryan who had been played by a Jonas brother err I mean Nick Jonas. Sorry but at this point aren’t the Jonas Brothers kind of interchangeable almost kind of a collective like the Borg on Star Trek?
We’re told that more changes are likely to come and Nancy Travis is also rumored to possibly be replaced midseason or if the show is renewed.
Last Man Standing is scheduled to return Friday, November 2nd 8/7c on ABC
