Sad news wrestling fans. Former WWF jobber ‘Iron’ Mike Sharpe passed away over the weekend at age 64. Sharpe reportedly had been dealing with a number of health issues.
Sharpe is perhaps one of the most recognizable “enhancement talents” in wrestling history and is definitely considered by some one of the best jobbers in wrestling history.
‘Iron’ Mike will be missed by anybody who grew up enjoying pro wrestling back in the eighties and paid a bit too much attention to the wrestlers who usually were on the losing end. I definitely count myself as one of them. Rest in peace, Iron Mike. Whenever they finally make a physical WWE Hall of Fame, I hope you make it in.
