I was actually excited to learn Josh Brolin (Men in Black 3, Jonah Hex, Goonies) was cast to play the arch villain Thanos in the next Guardians of the Galaxy film.
According to Latino Review, Brolin will join Bradley Cooper, Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana and Karen Gillan in the James Gunn adaptation, providing the voice for the CGI Titanian Eternal.
The character’s presence in the big-screen Marvel universe was first teased in a post-credits scene that followed 2012’s The Avengers.
Thanos is also tipped to appear in the forthcoming Avengers sequel, Age of Ultron, next year.
