It looks like Mila Kunis kept her promise and made a Marines YouTube wish come true this past Friday night, when she showed up at the Marine Corps Ball in Greenville, North Carolina.
The Ball was closed to the media, but were told Kunis attended the soiree held at the Greenville Convention Center with Sgt. Scott Moore.
Back in July you may remember Sgt. Moore invited Kunis to accompany him to the Ball while on a base in Afghanistan.
“Hey, Mila. It’s Sergeant Moore, but you can call me Scott,” he said in the video. “I just wanted to take a moment out of my day to invite you to the Marine Corps Ball on November 18 in Greenville, North Carolina, with yours truly. So take a second, think about it and get back to me.”
A little less than a week ago you may recall Kunis’s recent movie costar Justin Timberlake escorted a female Marine Corps combat instructor to a Ball in Richmond, Virginia. It’s kind of ironic that Kunis was invited first but Timberlake who had publicly encouraged her to accept the invitation ended up being invited in attending a Ball before her. Timberlake went on to call the experience “one of the most moving evenings of his life”
I applaud both of them but I applaud all of the fine men and women serving in our military even more because their jobs are so important and without them there would be no United States of America.
