NBC Picks Up Grimm for Second Season

While NBC's overall outlook may be grim the network decided to keep its freshman show Grimm on for yet another season. NBC confirmed today that they have renewed the fantasy/horror crime-fighting show for a second season.

Gray has been one of NBC's only success stories this year and has been holding its own in the ratings on Friday nights. I guess a little supernatural power is required in order to survive on NBC, after all they did cancel The Firm, Free Agents, The Playboy Club And Prime Suspect all of which were NBC freshman shows as well.

NBC is expected to announce most of its other pickups next week hopefully some other shows survived the cut.

  1. That’s great news for season two! Sure, there are plot holes, but Grimm is awesome because of the supernatural feel that it has. Every episode starts out with a new monster from the Grimm mythology, and that’s a great way to start out new episodes. This whole series has me entertained every time I’ve watched it, and believe it or not I just caught up using DISHOnline. What I really enjoy as a DISH customer and employee is I can use DISHOnline to watch just about anything to pass the time and it’s available to every DISH customer (and even non customers too). I hope I get a chance to watch it on live TV tomorrow, but if I can’t, I know there’s always DISHOnline.
