Nickelodeon’s iCarly will film last episode this summer

If you're an i Carly fan then I have some very bad news for you. Nickelodeon said that the show is coming to an and in an announcement is posted on its website on Thursday writing:
“For five wonderful years we've LOLed our way through countless episodes of the greatest web show on earth…iCarly!” Nickelodeon later in the day went on twitter to confirm that the show is indeed ending and it quickly became a trending topic on the site.
If you never watched it basically iCarly is a comedy on Nickelodeon starring Miranda Cosgrove, Jennette McCurdy and Nathan Kress, has been on the air since 2007. It follows the lives of Carly Shay, Sam Puckett and Freddie Benson as the attempt to put on the best web show on the Internet.
Good thing that came out of the announcement is that Jennette McCurdy and iCarly creator Dan Snyder are currently working on a new show for Nickelodeon which is yet to be titled. Nathan Kress is apparently trying to transition into movies because he just landed a role in Game of Your Life. As for Miranda Cosgrove (Carly) she decided to put her acting career on hold while she's attending college.
Now to show may be coming to an end but Nickelodeon still has a few episodes remaining to be filmed from now until June and the final episode is scheduled to air on Nickelodeon, November 6th. So if you want to watch the filming of the final episodes I suggest you put your ticket request in now so that you can watch iCarly since it's been filmed in front of a live studio audience.
