According to a report from Empire magazine Nicolas Cage is open to doing a Wicker Man sequel. Before you run away or close your web browser in complete horror he never said he had any studio interest. It’s hard to imagine this ever being made but unfortunately Cage can “I would like to hook up with one of the great Japanese filmmakers, like the master that made Ringu, and take The Wicker Man to Japan," Cage grinned, "except this time he's a ghost." Please if you know Hideo Nakata please keep him from taking the project. Just tell him about the bees.
