It’s been a very difficult week covering the entertainment world and it seems it’s only getting worse. We have some more sad news tonight as we’ve learned that actress Lauren Bacall, the sultry model-turned-actress who starred with husband Humphrey Bogart in classic movies such as “Key Largo” and “To Have and Have Not,” has died at age 89 after suffering a “massive stroke” Tuesday morning while at home.
In 1945, Bacall wed her one-time co-star Humphry Bogart, and the two remained married until the actor’s passing in 1957. Four years later, Bacall tied the knot with Jason Robards, but their marriage fell apart in 1969. Bacall is survived by her three children. Lauren Bacall was born Betty Joan Perske on September 16, 1924, in New York City to Natalie Weinstein-Bacal, a Romanian Jewish immigrant, and William Perske, who was born in New Jersey.
RIP Lauren Bacall. We hope you’re passing is the last we have to report about the end of life’s journey for any more Hollywood legends.
Royal Pains is adding a new set of brothers who will do anything for each other to its cast.
That 70′s Show alum Danny Masterson gas signed on to guest-star on the popular USA Network series as the brother of returning guest star Kyle Howard (My Boys).
If you remember Howard first appeared on Royal Pains during Season three as Dr. Paul Van Dyke, a physician at Hamptons Heritage who later joined HankMed as one of Hank’s replacements. Subsequently once Hank came back to the business, Paul eventually left to start his own concierge practice in Florida. He made a return to the show last season.
Paul will return for the Season six finale, only this time he’s a patient of HankMed’s. Masterson will play Paul’s brother, Danny Van Dyke, an affluent hedge fund manager who requires a kidney transplant but is reluctant to accept his brother’s organ.
Howard and Masterson join previously announced guest stars Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick, who will play themselves in the finale, set to air Sept. 2 at 9/8c.
After his role as Hyde on That 70′s Show came to an end, Masterson most recently starred on the TBS sitcom Men At Work. Howard will next star in the new TBS comedy Your Family or Mine.

Murphy had been cast to play the role of Ser Denys Mallister, the oldest member of the Night’s Watch. On Friday, the 86 year old collapsed and died.
It is not known how many more scenes Murphy had left to film, but series creators D.B. Weiss and David Benioff made it clear that another actor would not fill the part.
“We will not be recasting J.J. Murphy. He was a lovely man, and the best Denys Mallister we could have hoped for. And now his watch is ended,” Weiss and Benioff said in a statement.
