Red Solo cup inventor dies

Robert Leo Hulseman the man responsible for creating the Red Solo Cup passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, at the age of 84.

Hulseman started working for his dad’s business – the Solo Cup Company – When he turned 18. He eventually worked his way up to the companies president and CEO.

As president and CEO, Hulseman managed the company’s growth into one of the biggest food service packaging companies in the world.
