Ronda Rousey suspended

Rhonda Rousey was stopped just 48 seconds into her comeback fight this past Friday night and today the Nevada Athletic Commission to MMA Fighting announced that she has received a 45-day medical suspension.

Rousey who is 12-2 in MMA returned to the UFC after a 13-month absence following her shocking loss to Holly Holm will be unable to fight until at least February 14th due to the damage she sustained and is not allowed have any contact while sparring until at least January 30th.

In addition to Rhonda Rousey, four other UFC fighters from UFC 207 received suspensions of upwards to six months. So far there has not been any comments released by the UFC.
