‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper passes away

Wrestling legend “Rowdy” Roddy Piper has passed away at the age of 61.
Piper — born Roderick George Toombs — passed away after suffering a heart attack in his sleep at his home in Hollywood on Thursday night. He was found on Friday.
Piper was a wrestling icon — among the biggest stars in the WWF back in the eighties, and even wrestled in “Wrestlemania I” back in 1985 against Hulk Hogan and Mr. T.

Just a few weeks ago Piper was fired from the WWE because of a beef with Stone Cold Steve Austin. It will be interesting to see if the do anything to honor the legends this Monday night.

Roddy is survived by his wife Kitty and their 4 kids — including 3 daughters and son Colton who’s pursuing a career in professional wrestling.
