Stephen Hawking To Make Big Bang Cameo

On a show that glorifies nerdiness a cameo by physicist Stephen Hawking probably qualifies as a wet dream. So I guess those dreams do come true because last Friday Stephen Hawking filmed a scene to air on a future episode of The Big Bang Theory.

Jim Parsons who plays Dr. Sheldon Cooper on the show has been trying for years to get Stephen Hawking on the show but due to health problems from his ALS Hawking until now has never been able to appear. The episode featuring a cameo appearance is supposedly going to be airing on April 5th. This marks the second big-name in the nerd community that the show has snagged. Earlier we reported that Big Bang Theory snagged Leonard Nimoy to play Spock in one of Sheldon's dreams.
