The Killers Saxophonist Tommy Marth Dies in Apparent Suicide

Tommy Marth is saxophonist in the group The Killers was found in his Las Vegas home on Monday dead from what is being currently reported as a suicide.Tommy-Marth-suicide

The group released a statement on Tuesday saying "Last night we lost our friend Thomas Marth. Our prayers are with his family. There’s a light missing in Las Vegas tonight. Travel well, Tommy.”

Marth was a saxophonist on the Sam’s Town and Day & Age albums by The Killers and even toured with the band back in 2008 and 2009. He also played with a host of Las Vegas area acts including the Big Friendly Corporation and Black Camaro.

Marth was just 33 years old and is survived by his parents and two siblings. No word yet on any funeral plans but if we hear anything we will keep you posted.
