One of the best new television shows this year as in greenlit for a second season.
Word came down that TNT renewed its popular television show Perception which stars Eric McCormack as a schizophrenic college professor who moonlights as a FBI sleuth/consultant. The show gets an average of 7 million viewers per episode and more importantly a gets 1.8 million viewers who fallen that all so important 18 to 49 demographic.
“Perception has captured the imagination of TNT’s audience of armchair detectives with wonderfully intricate cases, emotionally charged situations and, of course, a terrific cast led by Eric McCormack,” said TNT prez Michael Wright. “Daniel Pierce is a truly unique and fascinating addition to television’s pantheon of crime solvers. We look forward to seeing where Perception takes us next.”
Perception finishes up its first season in the middle of September and the second season so far has a 13 episode pickup to air late next summer.
