Tucker Carlson to replace Megyn Kelly at Fox News

Adiós Megyn Kelly. Welcome aboard, Tucker Carlson.

It appears that Fox News Channel has found its heir apparent to Kelly’s coveted 9 PM Eastern slot on it’s channel. Tucker Carlson who has been with the network since 2009 will be reportedly filling the gap starting on January 9 that Kelly left in the show’s programming.

The news comes just a few days after Kelly announced that she was leaving the cable network and moving over to NBC, vacating her popular show “The Kelly File,” which aired for more than 3 years in primetime.

You may remember Carlson since he has hosted the 7 PM Eastern time show “Tucker Carlson Tonight” since November 2016.

A lot of viewers are unhappy with the move because they consider Carlson a disrespectful and sexist TV host. So basically the news giant is replacing a woman who faced misogyny with a man who openly condones it. Unfortunately, misogyny is alive and well in the world and the only thing that can stop it in this instance is for other journalists to step forward and for viewers at home to boycott the new show.
