It has been announced that Christopher Lee, who originally made a name for himself in the Horror genre, has died this past Sunday, June 7th.
Although he did not start acting until the age of 25, he had a long and hefty career. His career ranged from Dracula to Sherlock Homes to Bond Villan.
Most recently, however, he is best known for his portrayal of Saruman the White from the Lord of The Rings movies as well as his reprisal of his role in The Hobbit (and also known to be the only actor in the films that had actually met Tolkien).
He has affected all who have met him with his bearing and strength of character, and will be missed not only by his friends and family, but also his fans.
Rest in peace, Sir Christopher Lee.
